Fires in Greece – All the news: A fire broke out in a forest area in the Kamariza area of Agios Konstantinos in Lavreotiki Municipality, Attica.
There are 52 firefighters operating at the scene with a group of pedestrians and 21 vehicles.
Volunteer firefighters and local water transport authorities help in the extinction.
The winds at the point are strong, making the Fire Department’s job difficult. Therefore, beyond the forest, there is fear for the nearby settlement.
However, for the moment, the fire is far from residential areas.
