This is the seventh title for the Briton, thus tying Michael Schumacher at the top of the relevant list. Additionally, this was the fourth title in a row for the 34-year-old and will overtake Fazio and Vettel on their relevant list.

The only player to win more consecutive titles was Michael Schumacher, who finished in five consecutive championships between 2000 and 2004.

We remind you that this year Hamilton surpassed Michael Schumacher in victories, while he also equaled the German record for most domains on a track, reaching eight in Hungary, as did “Sumi” in France.
