EMY issued an emergency bulletin on worsening weather.

EXTRAORDINARY WORST WEATHER REPORT
A. Heavy rains and especially sea-coastal storms, which will be accompanied in some places by hail, will affect:
1) Today Sunday (03-01-2021)
- From the afternoon to the Ionian Islands and from late at night to Epirus, Western Sterea and Western Macedonia.
- In these areas, a weakening of the phenomena is expected from noon on Monday (01-04-2021).
2) Tomorrow Monday (04-01-2021)
- From the morning hours in central Sterea, the western and eastern Peloponnese, with the weakening of the phenomena from the afternoon hours and central Macedonia at intervals.
- From noon in eastern Sterea (including Attica), eastern Macedonia, Evia, Sporades and temporarily Thessaly with weakening of the phenomena on Monday night (04-01-2021)
- In the afternoon to Thrace and the islands of the North Aegean.
- From the afternoon the islands of the eastern Aegean and the northern Cyclades.
3) Tuesday (05-01-2021)
In the morning the islands of the Eastern Aegean and until noon those of the Dodecanese.
B. Tomorrow Monday 04-01-2021) in the Aegean it will blow south
Stormy winds 7 to 8 and possibly in the northern Aegean temporarily overnight until 9 Beaufort with gradual weakening at night.
C. Heavy snowfall will occur:
- From Sunday night (01-03-2021) to Monday noon
- (04-01-2021) in the mountains of the continental northwest.
- From afternoon to Monday night
(04-01-2021) in the mountains of Thrace.
