The targeted actions for the treatment and prevention of improvised races were carried out by Attica Traffic Directorate Saturday nights and early Sunday mornings.
Checks were performed on various parts of the basin Attica (Nea Thivon and Radiofonias, L. Kymis [έξοδος Τατοΐου], L. Schistou and L.Gr. Lampraki, L. Attikou Alsos & Evrou, Lycabettus Theater, EO Athens-Sounio [Λιμανάκια], Αναστάσεως [Χολαργός]).
In particular during the previous action, 783 vehicles were inspected and 312 violations were confirmed, as follows :
- (56) for excessive speed
- (53) due to excessive noise – lack of silencer
- (33) for not wearing a helmet
- (23) for irregular glass (tinted)
- (19) by deprivation of driving license
- (17) for traffic without license plates
- (11) KTEO violations
- (7) for not wearing a seat belt
- (7) for license plate violation
- (6) by deprivation of vehicle mirrors
- (5) for demonstration of skills
- (4) to perform dangerous maneuvers
- (4) for violation of a double dividing line
- (1) for red light violation
- (66) for other violations of traffic laws
Were removed 57 driving licenses, 78 marketing authorizations Y 69 pairs dishes traffic.

Another 26 vehicles were immobilized and transported by cranes.
The inspections will continue in other areas of Attica, in the context of the operational planning of the General Directorate of Police of Attica.
