An extremely serious espionage case has been worrying the Greek Police and the EYP for the last few hours, with the presentation of a case against two Greek Muslims in Rhodes, an employee of a passenger ship on the Rhodes-Kastelorizo line and the other employee at the Turkish Consulate in Rhodes.
The official announcement of the Police establishes the following:
“The Sub-Directorate of State Security of the Security Directorate of Attica filed a lawsuit against two locals, for violation of article 148 of the Penal Code (espionage) and AN 376/1936 (on security measures for fortified positions) for conspiracy.
From the above, one works on a passenger ship, which operates ferry routes that connect the island of Rhodes with the island of Megisti (Kastelorizo) and the other works in a Consular Authority in Rhodes.
The entire investigation of the case was carried out in close collaboration with the EYP and the assistance of the Rodas Security Subdirectorate. “
According to information from the main circles of the Hellenic Liberation Army, it is about Greek Muslims, where one worked at the Turkish consulate in Rhodes and the other on a ship on the Rhodes-Kastelorizo line.
It is said that the former recruited the latter, who during the current crisis in the Aegean with Turkey photographed the movements of the Greek Armed Forces both in the fortifications of the islands of the Greek Army and the movements of the ships of the Navy, etc. Through the employee of the Turkish Consulate they reached those interested on the opposite bank.
This is an extremely serious case and the investigation against it lasted several months to be substantiated. All the energy, of course, reveals the climate of war that Turkey is constantly cultivating in every way, but also the penetration that it is trying to achieve, but ignoring the fact that the “guards” really have knowledge. Of course, this case comes to light, just 24 hours after another Brussels Summit in which the Europeans again decided to “poeticize the island” against Greece and Cyprus.
