The situation in Moria is deplorable, following the new fire that broke out in KYT on Wednesday night. Refugees living in the camp were involved in incidents with the police.
Families were back on the road as they ran to save themselves and their children and belongings from the two new fires that are burning what was not destroyed by last night’s fire.
As a large group of refugees moved along the road to Mytilene, incidents occurred near Kara-Tepe, as some of them allegedly threw stones at the MAT and the Police men responded with tear gas.

Two new fires in Moria
A new fire broke out at two different points in the Moria camp after yesterday’s fire that burned down the Reception and Identification Center for refugees and immigrants.
The new fire broke out shortly after seven in the afternoon behind the KYT, while the situation with smoke and burned plastic is suffocating.

According to the information, the scenes that were not burned are burning and families run aimlessly with babies in their arms to save themselves from the flames.
According to the MEGA correspondent, the camp is burning from one extreme to the other.
Firefighters and army forces were on site to set up tents for the refugees, but a fire broke out that spread due to the flammable materials available.
The trees are burning, the whole camp is burning and there are explosions with the refugees running in all directions to save themselves from the fire.
