Tensions erupted at the refugee reception center and immigrants from Malakasa on Friday night.
An Afghan had “broken” the quarantine by leaving the structure, but the police found him in time. When he was arrested and returned to the reception center, he and other foreigners living in the building attacked the authorities and threw stones at them.
The police remain vigilant on the scene, whereas before they presented a case against the Afghan and imposed an administrative fine of 5,000 euros for “breaking” the quarantine.
It should be noted that the foreigner who tried to break the quarantine even has his own car with which he made his trips. The car was confiscated.
