Groups of protesters were transported to Propylaea, starting their march from Syntagma to protest against Dimitris Koufontinas. Police made more than 20 arrests during the incidents, including Dimitris Koufontinas’ son Hector. Shortly after 1:30 p.m., a group of 15 people gathered in front of the GADA building to protest the arrests.
However, until 1:15 p.m. on Saturday there were incidents and tension in the center of Athens where strong police forces were concentrated. It is recalled that the concentration of the protesters was aimed at supporting Dimitris Koufontinas, who started a hunger strike on January 8, 2021 demanding his transfer to Korydallos prison, while on Monday, February 22, a thirst strike began.
About 50 people participated in the march. Chemicals and quantities of water fell on the crowd.

The protesters who had gathered in Klafthmonos Square and the stadium moved to the University. While after 12:30 pm on Saturday, the Aura of the police sprayed them with water.
Previously, the protesters gathered in Syntagma, where the police forces pushed them towards Ermou and then headed towards Kolokotroni Street.
