However, he estimated that “we are at the end of the crisis because the vaccination course that continues without setbacks is the key to this development.” In this context, he pointed out that 1,340,000 vaccinations have been carried out, adding that by April we will exceed 1.5 million vaccines, not including the number of Johnson & Johnson vaccines. 
The emergency plan
According to the Health Minister, “the whole of Greece is once again a health region.” Where and when necessary, patients will be transported, as well as air transport. “
At the same time, the private sector will provide 550 beds to the NSS, of which 450 are non-Covid, along with its medical and nursing staff.
It is recalled that the Red Cross is transformed into a hospital exclusively for cases of coronavirus. In fact, today began the transfer of hospitalized patients who do not suffer from coronavirus to other public hospitals in Attica.
In addition, the 251st General Aviation Hospital is awarded to the NSS.
The Health Minister pointed out that the Covid ICU in Attica amounts to 381 of the 229 that it counted a month ago.

“Our fellow citizens need you, Greece needs you and that is why we are waiting the next 48 hours to make your offer an act of solidarity. Otherwise, even if at least 200 doctors do not answer our call, I will suggest to the Prime Minister the request for medical services to cover the needs of the NSS. “
