At the same time, the private sector will provide 550 beds to the NSS, of which 450 are non-Covid, along with its medical and nursing staff.

It is recalled that the Red Cross is transformed into a hospital exclusively for cases of coronavirus. In fact, today began the transfer of hospitalized patients who do not suffer from coronavirus to other public hospitals in Attica.

In addition, the 251st General Aviation Hospital is awarded to the NSS.

The Health Minister pointed out that the Covid ICU in Attica amounts to 381 of the 229 that it counted a month ago.

Otherwise, even if at least 200 doctors do not answer our call, I will suggest to the Prime Minister the request for medical services to cover the needs of the NSS. “
