At 12 noon, the Joint Assistance Court is expected to announce its decision in the case of 19-year-old Eleni Topaloudi, who was martyred at the hands of her two almost interlocutors on November 28, 2018 in Rhodes.

The court is asked to decide whether the two defendants are equally guilty of what the student experienced horribly, a few hours before they dumped her bloody, but still alive, on a steep beach, as requested by the Prosecutor or if They have shared responsibilities for the shocking end of the student.

According to the indictment, the defendant Roditis and his Albanian-born co-defendants, together, raped, tortured and then threw Eleni into the sea. They claim that there is no rape and blame each other for the brutal abuse with fists, blows with an electric iron and knives that the student received shortly before they found her at sea. The two accused youths also blamed each other for the unconscious student’s fall on the rocks.

If the court accepts the prosecutor’s proposal, the two defendants will face life in prison.
