Two children lost their lives in Samos, after the strong earthquake that occurred shortly before 2:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
According to the information, the two children, a boy and a girl, aged 17 and 15, were on their way to their tutoring center when the outer wall of an old abandoned house collapsed and crushed them.
At first no one noticed them and no one looked for them because their parents thought they were in tutoring. However, when time passed and they started searching, they realized what had happened.
The Fire Department for the specific incident was called at 17:00 on Friday afternoon, went to the stairs and took the two teenagers out.
As of that time, as before, the Fire Department has not received any other calls for help. There is information that has reached the Fire Brigade and the local Hospital Police of 4-5 people with minor injuries who are said to have gone to the Island Hospital on their own to provide First Aid.
