Ilir Meta was at a crown party, along with his wife Monica Kriemadi, on the birthday of comedian Bes Kalakou.
As a result, 30 guests were fined by the police after videos posted on social media.
The fine that is imposed corresponds to 110 euros for each participant, including of course Ilir Meta who also launched threats against the police, saying that: “They invited me to the birthday party, the restaurants were open, the distance was exemplary. These cops are doing their job, but they need to be aware that in case the vote is affected, the president will not be held responsible if the cops end up at the people’s feet. I invite everyone to do their job».
The Rama government has already fired six policemen who were aware of the party but did not do enough to stop it.
