Dice, tsipouro, televisions, spikes and … shields were found in the cells of Korydallos

Last night, Wednesday, December 23, 2020, selective searches were carried out by prison officials in 10 cells and common areas of Wing B of the Korydallos I Detention Center, according to a police report.

During searches, the following were found and confiscated:

improvised skewer,

improvised metal sword (70cm),

mobile phone, SIM card and charger,

4 dice and 100 chips,

110 liters of improvised alcoholic preparation (tsipouro),

10 damaged televisions and 6 remote controls,

2 pieces of wood and 1 plank, as well as a square wooden shield.

The competent Prosecutor and the Local Police Authority were immediately informed, which is conducting a pertinent preliminary investigation, while the planned disciplinary control is being carried out.
