Pagoni: War Vigil in “Gennimatas”

The president of the Athena-Piraeus hospital doctors, Matina Pagoni, spoke today at SKAI 100.3 about one of the most difficult shifts at Gennimatas hospital.

“We left a war vigil, we entered the ranch, while in the ICU all the beds are occupied,” he characteristically said. As you mentioned, they were intubated even in single beds under the supervision of intensive care specialists until they were transferred to ICU Covid beds.

According to Ms Pagoni, 12 people were to be transferred to the ICU, adding that it is impossible for all of them to be transferred.

Finally, he announced that another pathology clinic in Gennimatas will become a 65-bed Covid clinic.
