In the state of Pennsylvania, Democratic candidate Joe Biden widens his lead over his opponent, Republican President Donald Trump, according to the latest Edison Research Institute assessment of the results of the presidential election.
According to APE, if Biden wins this state (20 voters) he secures 270 voters and proclaims himself the new president of the United States.
With 96% of the estimated votes counted, the former vice president of the United States receives 49.6% and Trump 49.1%.
Judicial intervention
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court issued an interim injunction for the same state in order to separate the votes received after the election day of November 3 and keep them in a sealed box.
The decree was signed by Deputy Judge Samuel Alito, who states that “all county boards of elections are ordered, pending a new court order, to comply with the following instructions issued by the Secretary of the Commonwealth on October 28 and on November 1, that all ballots received by mail after 8 pm on November 3, to be separated and kept in a secure and sealed box separate from the other ballots. “
