In his eyes, a man from Heraklion could not believe it who, going to his lyophyte, found a harefish, or rather, to be more precise, its remains.
This is not the first time that these dangerous fish have been sighted on land, but always in coastal areas, as would be natural. However, how was the specific fish found in a lyophyte in the interior of Heraklion prefecture and, indeed, at an altitude of 420 meters from the sea?
The most likely explanation is that an animal transported the fish to the point where it was finally located.
