The goal is even before January 20 to start the vaccination of the population with vaccine for coronavirus.
The plan of the Ministry of Health foresees that from Monday, January 4, the health vaccination, the first, that is, the group of citizens who receive the coronavirus vaccine in Greece, will be expanded to an additional 40. hospitals.
According to Kathimerini, the next milestone dates are January 7, when another 40 will be added to the vaccinated hospitals, and January 11, when another 36 hospitals will be added to the list.
On Monday, at the same time, vaccinations will begin in the care units for the elderly, chronic care structures and rehabilitation centers, which will be carried out by EODY mobile teams.
Especially for employees in private clinics, they will be vaccinated in NSS hospitals.
The certificate
The plan also foresees that those who get vaccinated for the first time you will receive a printed vaccination certificate, while those who will receive the second dose of the vaccine, will be able to receive the certificate in digital form.
According to the Minister of Health, Vassilis Kikilias, “the vaccination certificate against the coronavirus will be for own use and will be registered in the IDIKA vaccination registry.”
“When the vaccination is completed, the citizen will be able to enter gov.gr with the Taxisnet codes and print it. The certificate will bear the seal of the Greek state and the citizen will be able to know the doses and the dates in which the vaccine was made ”, added Mr. Kikilias in the information session last Wednesday.
How to make an appointment
Since vaccination is voluntary, citizens will need the necessary “communication channels” with the state to make their appointment. Thus, according to the part carried out by the Ministry of Digital Government, the channels will be the following:
Intangible recipe
Those enrolled in the intangible prescription will receive a message on their mobile phone with the date and time of the appointment. Registration in the intangible recipe is already done in ehealth.gov.gr with the codes of Taxisnet and AMKA.
The Ministry of Digital Government is investing a lot in its capacities, since, as its top executives say, it will be the easiest and fastest way for someone to get vaccinated. “With the intangible prescription, we have access to the data of those who have registered, something that allows the state to take the first step for the first time. The citizen will be informed of the details of his appointment before even requesting it. “Never before has something like this happened in our country,” they point out.
The sequel, simple. The citizen will receive a notification about the day, time and vaccination center, and he will be allowed to simply accept his appointment by responding to the corresponding SMS or email. If you do not respond, you will receive a new alert in due course. If, on the contrary, someone wants to refuse to participate in the vaccination, he can simply indicate it. The systems will be updated and they will not be notified again, requiring the government’s decision to make vaccination optional. Precisely because the prescription of intangibles can provide solutions to practical problems, a special campaign will be launched to promote citizen registration. The encouragement will be given to those who have the digital skills both to sign up and to help family and friends who cannot do it themselves. It will be an expression of intergenerational solidarity so that all Greeks can benefit from the provision of the vaccine and digital services now provided by the state.

Those who are not registered in the intangible prescription can enter the special platform emvolio.gov.gr and type their AMKA to know when their vaccination is scheduled or make the programming, receiving directly in digital format all the information and the relevant referral.
