Coronavirus – All news: The sad list of deaths from Covid-19 grows in our country
After yesterday (September 11) the negative record of deaths in Greece from the coronavirus pandemic, today’s data is sad.
In the last hours 12 of our fellow citizens have already died and statistics show that today’s deaths will exceed yesterday’s figure.
Specifically, they concluded:
- Two patients aged 83 and 72 years in Papageorgiou, who were hospitalized in a single bed.
- 76-year-old woman in Sotiria.
- A 77-year-old man in Evangelismos, who was hospitalized in the ICU.
- 92-year-old male who was hospitalized at the Volos General Hospital.
- A 70-year-old woman in Hippocrates.
- 78-year-old woman from Bodosakeio, Ptolemaida, who was housed in a nursing home in Serres prior to her hospitalization.
- A 96-year-old man at Agios Pavlos Hospital in Thessaloniki.
- 69-year-old woman at the Agios Andreas Hospital in Patras.
- Two patients from the General Hospital of Serres, one 81 years old and the other 84 years old.
- An 87-year-old woman in Ioannina.
All of the patients who finished today had underlying conditions.
The total number of of the dead in our country now amounts to 837.

The number of cases in our country amounts to 1,490, as announced on Monday afternoon (09/11) by the professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases of the EKPA School of Medicine and the General Hospital “Attikon” and member of the Expert Committee Vana Papaevangelou.
4,456 (7.7%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 15,977 (27.5%) are related to an already known case.
Still, 239 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their average age is 66.. 59 (24.7%) are women and the rest are men. 87.0% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older. 329 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
