The condition of the 25-year-old who was transported on Saturday 9/26 by air from Tinos to Athens, after having tested positive for the coronavirus, remains critical but also stable.
The 25-year-old remains intubated in the Intensive Care Unit of the Asclepieion de Voula, while, according to the latest information, his respiratory function has slightly improved.
The man was transported on the afternoon of Saturday 9/26 from Tinos to the Syros hospital, after presenting symptoms of covid-19 and discomfort. In Syros he underwent a test, where he tested positive for the virus.
He was then intubated and transported inside the special EKAB helicopter capsule to a referral hospital in the capital.
According to the Open report, the 25-year-old had undergone two tests at Tinos, but they came back negative.
Doctors emphasize that he is a young man, without underlying diseases, who wants to demonstrate the seriousness of the new virus.
