We remind you that about 85 elderly people lived in the structure of the nursing home, 80% of whom had serious health problems, while about 15 people worked. In the previous two days, 41 people were positively diagnosed with the virus, while yesterday 36 elderly people were transferred to 7 hospitals in Attica.

It is also worth mentioning that according to the tests that were carried out, it seemed that the virus appeared in the structure about two weeks ago.

The president of the Committee of Experts of the Ministry of Health and specialist in infectious diseases, Sotiris Tsiodras, went to the nursing home on Wednesday (09/30) and as he stated “the dispersal in those places that do not receive visits is usually carried out by staff “.
