EODY announced this Tuesday 408 new cases of coronavirus during the last 24 hours in Greece.

Apart from the “explosion” of coronavirus infections, EODY information also indicates that the number of intubated patients in Greece is 89, while the last day there were 6 new deaths. In total, the death toll in the country is 462.

EODY’s information on the coronavirus

Today we announce 408 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 58 are associated with known confluences and 45 were located after controls at the gates of the country. The total number of cases is 23,060, of which 55.7% are men.

3,367 (14.6%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 9,364 (40.6%) are related to an already known case.

89 of our fellow citizens are being treated for intubation. Their average age is 69 years. 25 (28.1%) are women and the rest are men. 93.3% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older. 242 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

Finally, we have 6 more deaths recorded and 462 deaths generally in the country. 177 (38.3%) women and the rest men. The mean age of our deceased fellow citizens was 79 years and 96.5% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
