Coronavirus: Countdown to Vaccines – Who Will Get It First, Who Will Get It?

[ad_1]

Greece is a breath away before the first vaccines, as the Pfizer / BionTech preparations reached our country and specifically Athens, where they were stored in specially designed areas in Kryoneri.

Initially, the “Hippocrates” plan will be implemented, which will bring the doses of the vaccine safely to the distribution centers. The Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalias was in Thessaloniki for the arrival of the vaccines and accompanied them to Athens.

A large part of the state mechanism is in place to ensure their adequate storage and distribution and to carry out vaccines in all parts of the country. In recent days, all the actors have moved to the Civil Protection building, so that there is better coordination of the unprecedented operation, which was called “Freedom.”

Hardalias: Vaccines are not the end, but the beginning of the end of the pandemic

“Hope is here now!” says the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalias, in a post on his personal facebook page, for a while after the arrival and storage in Athens of the first vaccines against covid-19.

However, he points out that the arrival of the vaccine does not mean the end of the pandemic. “It only meant the beginning of his end” and emphasizes that “by remaining faithful, strictly and with the same persistence the measures, […] in a few weeks, in a few months, with slow, firm but sure steps, we will begin to recover life ”.

The Vice Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalias, writes in detail on Facebook:

“Hope is here now! He traveled safely, under the conditions he needed and with the care he needed from our northern borders to his central storage facility here in Athens.

And starting tomorrow, Elpida will take her place in the hearts of the Greeks, in a unique commitment to Freedom of the citizens of our country, of Europe, of the entire planet, against the most insidious world enemy, absolutely invisible.

Continue adhering to the measures faithfully, strictly and with the same perseverance, without excuses or pretexts, wearing masks, keeping distances and avoiding unnecessary movements and dangerous crowds, and above all listening to our scientists, in several weeks, in a few months, slowly, with firm but sure steps we will begin to recover our lives. The end of the pandemic did not come with the advent of the vaccine, it simply marked the beginning of its end and Hope now accompanies us all, our daily lives. Patience, perseverance, a little more composure, to reach the end healthy with all those we love.

How to make an appointment

Since vaccination is voluntary, citizens will need the necessary “communication channels” with the state to make their appointment. Thus, according to the part carried out by the Ministry of Digital Government, the channels will be the following:

Intangible recipe

Those enrolled in the intangible prescription will receive a message on their mobile phone with the date and time of the appointment. Registration in the intangible recipe is already done at ehealth.gov.gr with the codes of Taxisnet and AMKA.

The Ministry of Digital Government is investing a lot in its capacities, since, as its top executives say, it will be the easiest and fastest way for someone to get vaccinated. “With the intangible prescription, we have access to the data of those who have registered, something that allows the state to take the first step for the first time. The citizen will be informed of the details of his appointment before even requesting it. This had never happened before in our country.“They point out.

The sequel, simple. The citizen will receive a notification about the day, time and vaccination center, and will simply be allowed to accept their appointment by responding to the corresponding SMS or email. If you do not respond, you will receive a new alert in due course. If, on the other hand, someone wants to refuse to participate in the vaccination, they can simply indicate it. The systems will be updated and they will not receive the corresponding notification again, forcing the government to make vaccination optional. Precisely because the prescription of intangibles can provide solutions to practical problems There will be a special campaign to promote citizen registration. The encouragement will be given to those who have the digital skills both to sign up and to help family and friends who cannot do it themselves. It will be an expression of intergenerational solidarity so that all Greeks can benefit from the provision of the vaccine and digital services now provided by the state.

emvolio.gov.gr

Those who are not registered in the intangible prescription can enter the special platform emvolio.gov.gr and by typing their AMKA to know when their vaccination is planned or make the programming receiving directly in digital form all related information and references.

However, it should be noted that for this planning, the platform will open from the second ten days of January, since health workers will be the first vaccinated. the elderly and vulnerable groups. At the moment on this website we find useful information about vaccination.

ΚΕΠ

For those citizens who do not have the digital skills to use the aforementioned electronic services, it is planned to be informed and make appointments through the KEP.

13034 enters our lives

At the same time, a new five-digit number enters our lives with the start of vaccination against the coronavirus. This is the number 13034, to which we will send a message to find out if we meet the priority criteria and find out when an appointment will be made at one of the vaccination centers.

The number 13034 – is the next of 13033 that we send a message for our exceptional movement, it will be put into operation at the beginning of the vaccination program. As it turned out, I checked the criteria for scheduling a vaccination appointment. It will be done by message to 13034, or by writing AMKA on the emvolio.gov.gr platform.

How appointments will end

Those enrolled in the intangible prescription will receive a message on their mobile phone with the date and time of the appointment. Along with the appointment information, you will receive a special verification code and a relevant link, where you can confirm and end your appointment.

Citizens who are not registered in the intangible prescription will be able to make appointments online, entering the AMKA on the corresponding platform and the system will automatically inform them if they belong to the groups that are being vaccinated at that time. If they belong to the priority groups, they can book the appointment by entering the taxisnet codes.

Those who are not familiar with the use of digital technology will be able to contact a call center, and giving their AMKA and ID to be informed about when they are scheduled to be vaccinated and finally, alternatively, citizens can make an appointment at a pharmacy at KEP when this opportunity becomes available.
