August is shaping up to be a month of outbreak of coronavirus cases in our country, since more viral infections were detected in one month compared to the previous period.
In particular, confirmed cases of coronavirus, which were detected in August, amount to 5,730, a figure higher than the sum of new virus infections since the start of the pandemic until August 1.
At the same time, in August, intubated ICU patients increased by 26 Covid-19 patients, while 62 deaths attributed to the coronavirus were recorded.

More specifically, on August 1, the total number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in Greece was, according to official information from EODY, 4587 Covid-19 patients.
