Coronavirus: The increase in cases is rapid according to research data from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) for the course of the coronavirus in the country

Thus, if a mask were used in all areas, closed and open, on October 31, 2020 the cases would be 31,800, 566 deaths, while 91 fellow citizens will need ICU treatment. If the use of the mask continued until December 31, 2020, the total number of cases by then would be 45,826, the deaths would be 836, while in the ICU it would be 42 people.

The research was commented to MEGA by the professor of environmental engineering Demosthenes Sarrigiannis and the doctor and member of the Piraeus Medical Association, Barbara Anemodoura.
Mr. Sarrigianis emphasized that “the state is gaining experience from other countries. Therefore, it makes sense to study restrictive measures like those of France. He described the situation as critical and serious, saying that “We must apply protective measures prudently.”

At the same time, he explained that the spread of the coronavirus intensifies indoors, pointing out the need for good ventilation of the premises and avoiding the dryness of the temperature in them.
