Coronavirus: Since Wednesday morning the alarm sounded in the Amaliada Hospital and in the Pyrgos Hospital ICU since a patient operated on was diagnosed with coronavirus.
“Ano – kato” are since Wednesday morning surgeons, anesthesiologists, traumatologists, EKAB drivers, TEP and those who came into contact with this patient, while there is a disturbance in the Hospital of Pyrgos when the patient “passes” by him!
As reported by ilia.news, The patient visited Amaliada Hospital on Monday with abdominal pain since the Surgeon was on duty and then he was sent to the Pyrgos Hospital for a cardiological evaluation with an EKAB ambulance to later be operated. The cardiological evaluation did not show anything so the patient received a “green light” to operate.
The man then returned to the Amaliada Hospital, entered the operating room where he was operated on, and was later transferred to a hospital room.
According to local media The patient did not undergo a coronavirus test prior to surgery. but on Tuesday (12/8) and today it was positive.
The patient was sent again by EKAB ambulance, to the Covid unit of the Pyrgos Hospital while the Amaliada Hospital is in a state of panic!
According to the same information, all Hospital personnel who came into contact with the patient will be quarantined., while disinfection will be performed both in the operating room and in other areas.
At the same time, it is not ruled out that an EODY team be summoned for the most complete control of the situation.
