The total number of cases amounts to 144,738 (daily variation + 0.3%), of which 52.2% men. During the follow-up, it was found that 5,616 (3.9%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 43,776 (30.2%) are related to an already known case.
We also had 36 new deaths from COVID-19, reaching 5,263 total deaths in the country, of which 3,107 (59.0%) men. The mean age of our deceased fellow citizens was 79 years and 95.5% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
There are 353 people who are treated by intubation. Their average age is 68 years. 243 (68.8%) of those intubated are men. 84.1% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older.
In addition, 954 patients have been discharged from the ICU since the start of the pandemic.
In the last 24 hours, 8,464 molecular tests and 11,244 rapid tests were performed. The percentage of positivity was 2.25%.
