Coronavirus: 358 new cases in Greece – 194 in Attica – Health

Μe particularly high rates ethe epidemic still continues coronavirus in Greece, with the National Public Health Agency announcing on Wednesday afternoon (23/ 9) 358 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 56 are associated with known outbreaks and 43 were detected after controls at the country’s gateways.

Of the 312 national cases, 56 are associated with known influxes, of which 32 are associated with HFCs in Lesbos (Kara Tepe) and Samos.

The total number of cases is 16,286, of which 55.8% are men. the 2,696 (16.6%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 6,808 (41.8%) are related to an already known case.

Total 73 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their average age is 68 years. 20 (27.4%) are women and the rest are men. 89.0% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years of age or older.

In addition, 191 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

Finally, we have 5 more deaths registered and 357 deaths in total in the country. 132 (37.0%) women and the rest men. The average age of our dying fellow citizens was 78 years and 96.9% had some underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
