Coronavirus: 302 new cases in Greece – 133 in Attica – Health

A significant number of new coronavirus infections were confirmed again by the health authorities, since on Saturday afternoon (12/9) the National Public Health Organization (EODY) announced that theThere are 302 new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease, of which 29 are associated with known confluences and 21 were located after controls at the gates of the country.

About the new cases 21 were identified as mentioned during the controls carried out at the country’s entry gates, while 2 imported cases, which occurred voluntarily.

The total number of cases is 13036 (daily variation + 2.4%), of which 55.4% are men. the 2363 (18.1%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 5649 (43.3%) are related to an already known case.

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 2, while since its inception epidemic has been recorded a total of 302 deaths. The 112 (37.1%) were women and the rest men. The mean age of our dying fellow citizens was 78 years and 96.4% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.

The number of of the intubated patients are 53 (81.1% men). Their average age is 70 years. 10 (18.9%) are women and the rest are men. 86.8% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older.

Also 170 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
