Coronavirus: 229 cases in 24 hours – Four new deaths in Greece

THE coronavirus continues to “harvest” in our country, since 229 cases were registered in the last 24 hours and 4 new kills. As usual lately, the cases occur over the weekend. significantly reduced compared to newspapers and this is also due to the fact that the number of coronavirus tests is clearly reduced weekends.

We remind you that the case count begins daily from 3 o’clock the day before until 3 o’clock in the afternoon of the day where the cases and deaths of the 24 hours are announced.

According to the EODY announcement, of the 229 cases on Sunday (10/4), the 31 are related to known influxes and 28 were detected after controls at the country’s gates. The total number of cases is 19,842, of which 55.8% men.

3,049 (15.4%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad Y 8,083 (40.7%) are related to an already known case. 82 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their average age is 69 years. 25 (30.5%) are women and the rest are men. 81.7% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older. 223 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

Finally, we have four more deaths and 409 deaths in the country in total. 153 (37.4%) women and the rest men. The average age of our dying fellow citizens was 78 years and 96.3% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
