Coronavirus: 180 new cases in Greece – Five dead in 24 hours – Health

The coronavirus epidemic in Greece continues to grow, with the National Public Health Organization announcing on Monday afternoon (9/14) 180 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 22 are associated with known outbreaks and 21 were detected after controls at the country’s gateways.

Of the 157 domestic cases, 22 are associated with known confluences.

The total number of cases is 13,420, of which 55.4% are men. the 2,419 (18.0%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 5789 (43.1%) are related to an already known case.

In 59 our fellow citizens who are treated by intubation. Their average age is 70 years. 12 (22.2%) are women and the rest are men. 88.9% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older.

Also 173 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

Finally, we have 5 more deaths registered and 310 deaths in total in the country. 112 (36.7%) were women and the rest men. The mean age of our dying fellow citizens was 78 years and 96.4% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
