EODY announced 1,152 new cases Monday afternoon, of which 362 were located in Attica.

The number of new coronavirus cases remains in the four digits. EODY announced 1,152 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 96 are associated with outbreaks and 33 were detected after controls at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 42080, of which 54.9% are men.

4,176 (9.9%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 13,821 (32.8%) are related to an already known case.

153 patients are treated by intubation. Their average age is 66. 35 (22.9%) are women and the rest are men. 90.8% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older. 294 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

Finally, we have 7 more registered deaths and 642 deaths in total in the country. 248 (38.6%) women and the rest men. The mean age of our deceased fellow citizens was 79 years and 96.3% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.

According to EODY, of the 1,152 cases that were announced in the last 24 hours, 362 were located in the prefecture of Attica, while in Thessaloniki, which has entered a state of confinement since Tuesday, 210 were detected.
