Scientists in the United States have found new evidence that the thousands of tiny droplets that come out of the mouth during speech are a potentially important mode of transmission for the SARS-CoV-2 corona.

“There is a significant possibility that normal speech will cause the virus to spread through the air, especially in confined spaces,” the researchers said.
