The “black list” of victims of the coronavirus pandemic in the country is constantly growing, as eleven people have lost their lives in a few hours.
Eleven people have lost their lives since Thursday morning, approaching the negative daily record in the country on October 11, when 13 of our peers were finished.
Now, the dead awaiting official information at 6:00 p.m. amount to 481, while 89 (!) Are from September 30 to today, in just two weeks.
Infectious disease specialists have been expressing their intense concern in recent days about the dramatic increase in the number of deaths in the face of the difficult winter ahead.
Increase in deaths
In fact, in the last three weeks, according to the detailed table with the pandemic data presented by “A Vima”, there is an increase in deaths by 36%.
It is indicative that in the last week more than 50 (including 11 in the last 24 hours) deaths from coronavirus were registered, which is a record since the start of the pandemic, with an average of around 7 deaths every 24 hours, when the relative average condition three weeks ago was five deaths.
Furthermore, there are fluctuations in the number of intubated patients as the high mortality “reduces” – according to this macabre statistic – the number of intubated and the total hospitalized in the ICU.
It is observed that in the last week it is estimated that 54 people were intubated (in this number there may be small differences), with a percentage of around eight per day, when the relative average of the past week was about 9 ICU patients in this critical condition.
