Speaking to SKAI, he stated:
“It just came to our attention then. We saw an employee, through the statement presented by the sole proprietorship, asking for 1,742,000 Easter gifts.
“Another company 1,100,000, another company for one employee, 800,000, another 600,000, another 50,000, believing that the speed of movements should not be controlled,” stressed the Minister of Labor.
Especially for the sole proprietorship that asked for 1,742,000 euros, Mr. Vroutsis said that, arising from the intersection with the ERGANI system, it was a gift from an employee, whose salary amounts to 1,159 euros.
Mr. Vroutsis explained that the need to cross-reference the submitted data “also answers the question why we are late to give the Easter gift”, added Mr. Vroutsis and announced that his payments will be made before September 15.
Payment of EFKA contributions
Regarding the EFKA contributions that have been suspended due to the pandemic, Mr. Vroutsis highlighted that their payment will be made in 12 installments with an interest rate of 0% or in 24 installments with an interest rate of 2.5% to from 2021. When asked when the payments start, he replied that there is usually an alignment in the payments of insurance contributions with taxpayers.
