The new decision on the new protection measures against the spread of the coronavirus was published in the Official Government Gazette, from Monday, December 7, 2020 at 6:00 a.m. to Monday, December 14, 2020 at 6:00 a.m. .
In the specific Official Gazette are all the measures and fines, but also how we must observe social distances both in supermarkets and during physical exercise. Among other things, it describes what applies to work in the public and private sectors, as well as in schools.
For the public sector
Among other things, for the public sector it is foreseen:
• Operation with the necessary personnel to provide the service or comply with the project in accordance with the pertinent provisions.
• Mandatory protection of employees belonging to higher risk groups through the granting of special permits and teleworking, when possible.
• Mandatory teleworking to the greatest extent possible, if consistent with the nature of the duties, in addition to employees belonging to a high-risk group.
• Service to the public only in urgent cases and mandatory by appointment.
• Maintaining a distance of one and a half meters (1.5).
• Meetings by videoconference of collective bodies. In the functioning of the collective bodies that carry out procedures in which an interview is offered, it is carried out by electronic means without the physical presence of the interviewee. In this case, the collegiate body establishes the terms and conditions necessary to ensure the credibility of the process regarding the identity of the caller and his / her non-attendance due to external factors.
• Carrying out work meetings maintaining a distance of one and a half meters (1.5) and with the participation of up to seven (7) people.
For private companies
For private companies it is provided:
• Operation with the necessary personnel to provide the service or fulfill the project in accordance with the pertinent provisions.
• Mandatory protection of employees belonging to higher risk groups by granting a special leave of absence and teleworking, when possible.
• Mandatory teleworking as far as possible, as long as it is consistent with the nature of the tasks, regardless of whether it is a vulnerable / high-risk group.
• Customer service only in emergencies and by appointment.
• Maintaining a distance of one and a half meters (1.5).
• Holding work meetings with a distance of one and a half meters (1.5) and with the participation of up to seven (7) people.
For schools and educational structures
Special provisions in the joint ministerial decision in points D1a / GP.oik.69543 / 10.31.2020 (Β ‘4810), which establish restrictions and measures in the operation of the educational units of Primary and Secondary Education, Education and Special Training, laboratory centers and school laboratories, second chance schools, vocational training institutes, post-secondary course – EPAL learning class, lifelong learning centers, education and professional training and lifelong learning structures of the Civitanideio public school of arts and professional schools, tutoring, Certification of competencies, foreign language education institutes and all kinds of related structures, public and private, Public Libraries, the National Library of Greece and the General State Archives, remain in force, to the extent that do not contradict the provisions of this.
The joint decision of the Minister and the Deputy Minister of Education and Religions pursuant to points 120126 / ΓΔ4 / 12.9.2020 (Β ‘3882), modified by the points of points 131451 / ΓΔ4 / 30.9.2020 (Β’ 4264) and 155689 / ΓΔ4 / 14.11.2020 (Β ‘5044) similar decisions, remains in force.
The administrative functions of schools and all kinds of educational structures are not affected by the application of this.
• Suspension of the educational function of primary school units, including kindergartens, primary schools, full-time schools, gymnasiums and lyceums, evening activities and all kinds of educational structures from this point (including enrollment centers, including language providers, training and certification providers, foreign language training institutes and all kinds of related structures).
• Realization of modern distance learning in application of the joint decision of the Minister and the Vice Minister of Education and Religions under elements 120126 / ΓΔ4 / 12.9.2020 (Β ‘3882), modified by elements 131451 / ΓΔ4 / 30.9 .2020 (Β ‘4264) and 155689 / ΓΔ4 / 14.11.2020 (Β’ 5044) similar decisions.
• Continuation of the permanent educational functioning of the units of special education and training at all levels. The operation of the structures in the previous paragraph is carried out with the mandatory use of a mask indoors and outdoors and during breaks, but not during physical education. Exceptionally, the use of a mask is not mandatory in cases where it is not compatible with the degree and type of special educational need.
• Suspension of the functioning of artistic education structures and the possibility of distance education.
• The permanent training of probation officers and fixed border guards at the Police Academy of the Hellenic Police is extremely permitted, subject to health protection measures and to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
