The new decision on emergency measures to protect public health from the risk of a further spread of the coronavirus throughout the territory for the period from Monday, December 7, 2020 at 6:00 a.m. to Monday, December 14, 2020 was published in the Official Government Gazette. 6:00, after the announcement of the extension of the confinement.
The new Government Gazette specifies what measures are in force in the public and private sectors, what is in force in schools and all educational structures in the country, places of worship. In turn, it specializes in the operation of grocery stores, which applies to the use of masks, traffic restrictions, but also sanctions in case the measures are not observed.
Because the State provides:
- Operation with the necessary personnel to provide the service or fulfill the project in accordance with the pertinent provisions.
- Mandatory protection of employees belonging to high-risk groups through the granting of special permission and the provision of teleworking, whenever possible.
- Mandatory teleworking as far as possible, if consistent with the nature of the duties, in addition to employees belonging to a high-risk group.
- Public service only in urgent cases and mandatory by appointment.
- Maintaining a distance of one and a half meters (1.5).
- Meetings by videoconference of collective bodies. In the operation of the collective bodies that carry out procedures in which an interview is offered, it is carried out by electronic means without the physical presence of the interviewee. In this case, the collegiate body establishes the terms and conditions necessary to ensure the credibility of the process regarding the identity of the call and its non-attendance due to external factors.
- Carrying out work meetings keeping a distance of one and a half meters (1.5) and with the participation of up to seven (7) people.
For the private sector it provides:
- Operation with the necessary personnel to provide the service or fulfill the project in accordance with the pertinent provisions.
- Mandatory protection of employees belonging to high-risk groups through the granting of special licenses and teleworking, where possible.
- Mandatory teleworking as far as possible, as long as it is consistent with the nature of the tasks, regardless of whether it is a vulnerable or high-risk group.
- Public service only in emergencies and by appointment.
- Maintaining a distance of one and a half meters (1.5).
- Holding work meetings at a distance of one and a half meters (1.5) and with the participation of up to seven (7) people.
