Turkey and the United States have established a joint working group and are already in technical talks to analyze the issue of Russian S-400 missiles, which have been sanctioned by Washington, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoλουlu announced today.
“We have established a joint working group with the United States for the S-400s and we are already in technical negotiations,” Tsavousoglou told a news conference, while awaiting the relevant confirmation from the United States.
It is recalled that the United States with a bill decided to impose sanctions on Turkey for the acquisition of Russian S-400 air defense missile systems, which Washington considers non-NATO compliant and incompatible with F-35 fighters.
