Civil Protection announced the extension of the hard blockade

The extension of the confinement in Elefsina, Aspropyrgos and Kozani was decided by Civil Protection on Tuesday night. Likewise, new measures are being taken for the Palekastro community of the Municipality of Sitia, Lassithi, as well as in the communities of Neda, Agiochori and Ipio of the Municipality of Arriana, Rodopi.

After an extraordinary meeting at the Civil Protection Operations Center, taking into account the epidemiological data that have emerged in the Municipalities of Aspropyrgos, Elefsina of Attica, the Municipalities of Eordea, Kozani and Voio de Kozani, the Palekastro and the Municipality of Laikate Neda, Agiochori and Ipio PCs of the Municipality of Arriannon of the Prefecture of Rodopi by order of the Vice Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalias, of relevant proposal and unanimous consent of the National Committee for the Protection of Public Health 19, Considering Koronos stratification of residents, test results and data monitoring, by decision of the Secretary General of Civil Protection, Vassilios Papageorgiou, for urgent reasons to address a serious risk to public health and, in particular, to limit the spread of the effects of COVID- 19, λαμβά following restrictive measures:

• Prohibition of movement outside the limits of the municipalities of Aspropyrgos, Elefsina of Attica, of the municipalities of Eordea, Kozani and Voio de Kozani, of the region of Western Macedonia, of the municipality of Palekastro of the municipality of Sitia of the municipality of Lassithi and of the Lassithi municipality of PE Rodopi, except for travel for health reasons.
• From 6:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Prohibition of any movement of citizens, excluding employees and who can only move from home to work and vice versa with the exclusive permission of their employer.
• Suspension of religious ceremonies
• Suspension of stores (retail, etc)

As well:

• Attend from the Region of Attica, Western Macedonia, Crete and Eastern Macedonia and Thrace for the supply and supply of basic needs (food, medicine, etc.) of the inhabitants and for any type of assistance in the cases of residents with chronic diseases and the afflicted.
• In charge of the Regional Fire Service Administration (PEPYD) of Attica, West Macedonia, Crete and East Macedonia and Thrace for assistance to personnel and media, where and when needed
• The surveillance and implementation of any necessary action by the General Directorate of Police of Attica (GADA) the General Directorate of Regional Police (GE.PAD) of West Macedonia, Crete and East Macedonia and Thrace for Compliance with geographical limitations and home of the inhabitants.

Finally, the above restrictive measures apply

a) from Wednesday 06-01-2021 and from 06:00 to Monday 11-01-2021 for the Municipalities of Aspropyrgos, Elefsina, Eordea, Voio and Kozani

b) from Wednesday 6-1-2021 and at 06.00 for ten (10) days, that is, until 15-1-2021 for the local community of the municipality of Palekastro de Sitia of the Lassithi prefecture

c) from Wednesday 6-1-2021 and hours 06.00 until 10-1-2021 for the Local Communities of Neda, Agiochori and Ipio of the Municipality of Arriana of the Prefecture of Rodopi

Then, the National Committee for the Protection of Public Health against the Coronavirus Covid-19 will meet to evaluate the epidemiological data.
