Coronavirus – All the news: The next few days are crucial for the epidemiological landscape of the country, and experts fear that Christmas trips could spread the virus – Tight controls even in homes in the presence of a prosecutor
Christmas Eve has concerned both experts and the government, as overcrowding in homes can lead to a rapid outbreak of coronavirus outbreaks.
The Greek family will therefore be forced to celebrate the holidays differently this year, with fewer people at the table and controls by the authorities.
According to the main Star News bulletin, even images from a drone will arrive at the police checkpoint on Christmas Eve, while where there is greater vehicle traffic it will precipitate patrol cars, so as not to spread the virus for the sake of New Year’s Eve.
Checks in homes too
THE union member of EL.AS. Stavros Balaskas highlighted how the police also intend to carry out very strict checks on houses. “There will be a prosecutor on duty, who at any time can give orders to control the party,” he stressed.
“We will spend Christmas with the police in the streets, as has been the case since March,” Civil Protection Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis said Monday. “There will be strict controls to comply with the decisions that will finally be made,” he concluded.
