Child Allowance – OPEC: When will the fifth bimonthly installment for 2020 be paid to the beneficiaries of the child allowance?
On November 11, the online child benefit application platform A21 was temporarily closed.
Next, according to a relevant announcement by the Organization for Social Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEC), the online platform will not accept new applications, until the settlement and payment of the fifth bimonthly installment for 2020 is completed. After completing the payment, the online platform will be reactivated.
Child allowance: When will the fifth installment be paid?
The benefit for dependent children is calculated based on the dependent children declared in the A21 of 2020. The applications will be settled, according to the last tax return, which means that only those who have filed this year’s return will be paid. .
At the same time, OPEC clarifies that, in order for the child allowance to be granted, the application must have been definitively submitted and approved. A temporarily saved application is considered not submitted and will not be considered.
The fees will be paid as follows:
- Fifth installment of the allowance per child from September to October will be granted on Monday, November 30, 2020
- your sixth and last dose Child allowance November – December will be given before the 2020 Christmas holidays.
The amounts
The amount of the allowance is fixed monthly at 70 euros / 42 euros / 28 euros for each child (for the first and second child depending on the amount of income of the taxpayer) and 140 euros / 84 euros / 56 euros from the third and for each subsequent child monthly.
OPEC reminds all concerned that, grant child allowance, the request must be final and approved. A temporarily saved application is considered unsent and will not be considered.
