Child allowance – OPEC: The electronic platform A21 for child allowance, which refers to the submission of the request for child allowance for the year 2020, closes today, Friday, January 15, 2021.
Given the fact that platform A21 (child allowance) is definitively closed for the year 2020, the Organization for social benefits and social solidarity (OPEC) invite those who have not shown up or have not finalized your request to do it immediately and, in any case, before January 15, 2021, to be granted the 2020 allocation.
According to a relevant announcement, for applications in the year 2021, the platform for submission will open in March 2021.
OPEC notes that it intends to issue a new press release with all the necessary information for interested parties.
Beneficiaries of the child allowance can submit the A21 application at the link https://www.idika.gr/epidomapaidiou.
The amounts
Beneficiaries are identified by income criteria as follows:
- First category up to 6,000 euros
- Second category 6,001-10,000 euros
- Third category 10,001-15,000 euros
The amount of the allowance depends on the number of dependent children and the concerns:
- For the first category, 70 euros per month for the first dependent child, an additional 70 euros for the second and another 140 euros per month for the third and every 3 additional children.
- For the second category 42 euros per month for the first child, 42 additional euros for the second and 84 euros per month for the third and each dependent child.
- For the third category, 28 euros per month for the first child, 28 additional euros for the second and 56 additional euros for the third and any dependent children other than the third.
All payment dates for 2021
OPEC will also pay the child allowance in six biweekly installments this year to the beneficiaries.
In detail, the dates of payment of the child allowance by OPEC for 2021 are as follows:
- First installation:
On March 31, 2021, it is expected that the beneficiaries will be paid the first bimonthly installment of the 2021 allocation. This payment applies to the months of January and February and to all those who will apply in mid-March. - Second dose:
On May 31, 2021, it is expected that the beneficiaries will be paid the second bimonthly installment of the 2021 allowance. This payment refers to the months of March and April.
- Third installment:
On July 31, 2021, it is expected that the beneficiaries will be paid the third bimonthly installment of the 2021 allowance. This payment refers to the months of May and June. - Fourth dose:
On September 30, 2021, it is expected that the beneficiaries will be paid the fourth bimonthly installment of the 2021 allowance. This payment refers to the months of July and August. - Fifth installment:
On November 30, 2021, the fifth bimonthly installment of the 2021 allocation is expected to be paid to the beneficiaries. This payment refers to the months of September and October. - Sixth installment:
The last and sixth bimonthly installment of the 2021 allowance is expected to be paid to beneficiaries before the New Year. This payment refers to the months of November to December.
OPEC reminds all interested parties that in order for the Child Allowance to be granted, the application must have finally been submitted and approved. A temporarily saved application is considered unsent and will not be considered.
