A police report was immediately filed and a special unit from the New Philadelphia-Chalkidona Security Department ambushed the two perpetrators and arrested them on the spot.

The search of the perpetrators’ homes found, among other things, an electronic card reader, an electronic card reader and scanner, as well as a card similar in size to those of bank cards with an electronic reader.

The authors were taken to the Athens First Instance Prosecutor and subsequently to the Investigator, who decided to place them in preventive detention for criminal acts. For one of the detainees, Interpol has a pending European arrest warrant for similar cases abroad.

When customers – ATM users. they do a withdrawal transaction, the money gets stuck at the limit, and the transaction apparently doesn’t complete.

The unsuspecting customer, thinking that the transaction has not been completed, leaves considering the ATM. it is damaged or has no money.

The perpetrators, who often keep a close eye on the ATM. when the customer leaves, they rush over to him and remove the cover and the money attached to the double-sided tape.
