Vaccines in Britain begin Tuesday, fearing forgery of “covid identities”.
The specific “identity card”, in addition to the personal data of the citizen, will indicate the type of vaccine, the batch number and the date of its administration.
However, it is possible for the British to use fake IDs, which can be sold on the black market, if health centers require the display of health certificates.
Downing Street, however, clarifies that this evidence is designed for those who have received the first and are waiting for the second dose and will not be used as some kind of… immunity passport, according to the Daily Mail.
However, Conservative MPs insist that legislation be passed that stipulates that these cards cannot be used under another name.
Critics of the plan argue, however, that if companies demand the possession of “covid identities,” there could be cases of forgery.
Former British ministers, including David Davis, told the Daily Mail that in order to return to normality and not be deprived of their liberty, the British could resort to counterfeiting to guarantee free access everywhere.
Who will be vaccinated first
According to the country’s Health Minister, Matt Hancock, the entire British territory has received doses of the Pfizer vaccine, before the day of vaccinations, the famous V-Day.
There are 50 hospitals that keep the vaccines and will distribute the doses.
People over the age of 80, nursing home workers and healthcare workers will be among the first to be vaccinated.
The first 800,000 doses arrived last week from Belgium, in trucks and in extreme secrecy, to avoid attacks after Interpol warned of possible attacks.
Senior health officials estimate that 4 million doses will reach the UK before the end of the year, meaning that two million people will have been vaccinated. Remember that a period of 21 days is required from the administration of the first to the second vaccination dose.
Britain has ordered a total of 40 million doses, and experts expect it to be approved before Christmas and the Oxford vaccine.
