A large fire is breaking out at the Samos Reception and Identification Center (KYT).
The fire spread very quickly and burns around the KYT.

As the mayor told GRTimes.gr, the fire broke out outside the KYT, on its northeast side, outside the perimeter and so far, depending on the wind direction, the camp does not appear to be threatened. Mr. Stantzos stated that the fire is intense and is located in an inaccessible area, without a forest road from which firefighters can easily reach and the strong winds that are blowing at this time are difficult to extinguish.
