Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who was diagnosed with coronavirus, was taken to hospital.

Mr. Berlusconi was transferred to the San Rafaele Hospital in Milan to take precautionary measures.

Until yesterday, his personal doctor affirmed that the former prime minister was asymptomatic and was in self-isolation at his home in Milan. However, after symptoms appeared, the 83-year-old Italian politician was taken to hospital.

However, Silvio Berlusconi’s new partner, Marta Fasina, a member of the Forza Italia party, was also diagnosed with a coronavirus.

Aside from “Cavaliere”, two of her five children are also positive for covid-19. They are Luigi and Barbara Berlusconi, 36 and 31 years old. They settled in solitary confinement in the villa of the former Italian prime minister in Sardinia.
