Berlin authorities have sounded an alarm when a vehicle crashed into the door of the chancellery.
According to a witness who spoke to Reuters, a vehicle fell on the door of Angela Merkel’s office.
At the moment there are no reports of injuries, but there is no further information on whether the vehicle intentionally fell on the door or is an accident.
Strong police forces have rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area.

It is noted that the incident took place shortly before Chancellor Merkel began a teleconference with the prime ministers of the country’s states, about the next steps to face the pandemic.
