EMY Emergency Bulletin: Weather is deteriorating rapidly since Thursday night, as according to the emergency weather bulletin issued by EMY, heavy rains and storms will “hit” Greece through Friday

The new wave of bad weather has already begun, with showers and thunderstorms manifesting in the northwest.

In accordance with emergency weather report issued by EMY, hailstorms are likely.

In more detail it will be affected:

1. From Thursday night (10-15-2020), the Ionian Islands, Epirus and gradually the western continent. A weakening of the phenomena is expected gradually from 12 noon on Friday (10-16-2020) from the north.

2. From the afternoon hours of Friday, East Macedonia, Thrace and the islands of the Northeast Aegean. A weakening of the phenomena is expected in the early hours of Saturday morning (10-17-2020) in eastern Macedonia and Thrace and from noon in the northeast Aegean islands.

Weakening The phenomena are expected gradually from noon on Friday from the north.

2. From afternoon hours on Friday East Macedonia, Thrace and the islands of the Northeast Aegean.

Weakening of the phenomena is expected in the early hours of Saturday morning in eastern Macedonia and Thrace and from noon on the islands of the northeast Aegean.
