According to the latest forecasts data of the National Observatory of Athens / Weather.gram, as well as with available prognostic models of other bodies, atmospheric disturbance in your area Central mediterranean (see satellite image) expected gradually to be significantly strengthened, creating the IANOS bad weather that will affect our country from the September 17.
The main characteristics of IANOS will be heavy rains, especially in the Ionian and southern parts of the country, electrical storms in some places, and very stormy winds, especially in parts of the sea, where they can reach storm levels.
Note that:
• Due to the uncertainty they present forecasts transition seasons, and due to the current location of the atmospheric disturbance (located over the sea), the path that it will follow is not yet clear.
