According to an announcement by the students, some of them were carrying weapons.
According to the students, the security men immobilized them and tied their hands with a raised tire.
The announcement of the students who participated in the occupation:
Yesterday Wednesday 3/10, in the coordinating assembly of the occupied rectory of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, it was decided to leave the building on Thursday 3/11 with the educational process that has been convened with a pre-assembly at 11 outside the rectory and a visit at 1:00 pm at the Venizelos statue. In the early morning of Thursday 3/11, around 5:30 am, an attack was carried out on the lobby where around 25 people were awake.
A group of security guards refused to show us any identity, some of whom were carrying weapons, broke into the building, pinned us to the ground and tied our hands with a raised tire.
In total, along with the people sleeping on the floors, they gathered more than 100 people in the lobby and at that moment, while some of us were having a panic attack, they started screaming and referring to some of their names, recording our faces without leaving many of us donning our masks.
At the same time, cutting faces and pointing, they started to separate some of us, which they brought. For what we had left, they initially offered to untie us and leave and when we refused to ask to remain united with the people who had already brought us, they released us and took us out of the building, where two other MAT squads were waiting for us. , forcing us by pushing and then throwing chemicals at us, to leave.
We were chased and beaten in the chemistry square, where when we arrived we met with other students who were already there and teachers who came.
At the moment we know that 33 people were brought in, while until now we have stayed on campus, which is surrounded by police, helicopters and drones.
Nothing ended, not even a step back.
All at 1 pm at the Venizelos statue, while after the march we support the occupation in STHE!
The end of the occupation had been announced in advance.
Police raided the university early in the morning and arrested the students who had announced that they would end the occupation on Thursday.
The MAT men threw chemicals at the students inside the university, and the students could not resist, they only shouted slogans.
In fact, according to the information, the authorities prohibited the entry of journalists inside the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and limited a specific space in front of the commercial door of the TIF.
The feature is a video of a journalist, towards which a MAT squad is rushing, with the journalist shouting his status out loud.
After a while, they asked him for his identity and asked for his name.
