The categories were recited in 14 men, including a former employee of kindergarten, for the production and exchange of material child abuse via an Internet network in Australia and abroad, Australian police announced today.
The police investigation was carried out in collaboration with personnel from the Ministry of Internal Security. This led to the location 46 victims in Australia, including 16 from a single child care center, the Australian Federal Police said in a statement.
Detainees had links to child abuse suspects found on online forums at Europe, Asia, the United States, Canada and New Zealand.
Australian police have not ruled out further arrests.
The 14 men were arrested weeks after Australian authorities charged 44 men with processing and producing child abuse material after a year-long investigation.
